Dual Vocational Training Program for Pharmaceutical Specialists
On 8th July, Dawa Life Sciences together with United States International University – Africa and 3 other Pharmaceutical companies kicked-off the Dual Vocational Training Program for Pharmaceutical Production Specialists – a program sponsored by the German Metrology Institute (PTB), an institution of the Federal Government of Germany.
It is set to provide an opportunity for young students to qualify them working as operators in #Pharmaceutical production after 12 months course completion.
In attendance were delegates from the Ministry of Health, Kenya, the German Embassy, the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa (AHK Eastern Africa), and the Kenya National Qualification Authority.
“This program fits perfectly in our wider development cooperation portfolio with Kenya, the East African Region and the African Union. It will provide many opportunities for training and developing capacity within the Pharmaceutical Industry in collaboration with German partners” said Deputy German Ambassador, Thomas Wimmer.
