Therapeutic class: AntimicrobialGeneric name: Sulfadimidine
Active ingredients: Each bolus contains Sulfadimidine BP Vet 5g
Indications: For the treatment of enteritis, pneumonia, metritis, nephritis, navel ill and secondary bacterial infections, interdigital nercrosis of cattle (foul-in-the-foot), calf diphtheria, actinobacillosis and coccidiosis.
Dosage and Administration: One bolus per 25kg body weight as initial dose then half of this daily. Animals should not be slaughtered for human consumption for at least 10 days after the last treatment. Milk from treated animals should not be used for human consumption until after 96 hours from the last treatment.
