Therapeutic class: AntimicrobialGeneric name: Oxytetracycline
Active ingredients: Egocin20% A sterile aqueous solution containing Oxytetracycline Dihydrate 200mg/ml.
Indications: Oxytetracycline is active against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria, certain rickettsia and the larger viruses. Egocin5%, 105 and 20% are indicated in the treatment and control of a wide range of common systemic, respiratory gastro-intestinal, urinary and local infection caused by, or associated with organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline.
Dosage and administration: Egocin20% injection: 1ml per 10kg bodyweight repeated after 3-5 days.
