Therapeutic name: Anthelmintic.
Generic name: Mebendazole, Piperazine and Praziquantel.
Active Ingredients: Mebendazole BP 110mg, Piperazine Citrate BP 275mg and Praziquantel BP 25mg.
Indications: A broad spectrum anthelmintic for effective control and treatment of roundworms, hookworms, lungworms and tapeworms in dogs and cats.
Dosage and Administration: One tablet per 5kgbody weight (maximum of 6 tablets for an adult dog). Treatment should be repeated 3-4 weeks after the first dose. Deworming of pets should be done at least every three months or as directed by a veterinarian. Tablets are given directly from the mouth or crushed and mixed with little amount of soup, milk or food. It is advisable withdraw food for 12 hours before administration of PET-DWORM tablets to get the best results. As it is likely that unweaned animals become infected with tapeworm, PET-D WORM tablets not recommended for unweaned puppies and kittens.
