St Catherine’s Children’s Home visit
Nothing brings us more joy than giving back to the community. Dawa Life Sciences strives to make a positive change in the world; a better quality life for all. As part of our yearly CSR plan, we visited St Catherine’s Children’s home, in Kibera, Nairobi. Kibera is the largest urban slum in Africa. We gave food items, mattresses, beddings and other supplies. The children’s home relies on well-wishers to provide for the orphans, abandoned and neglected children of all age.
Our team had a great time interacting, mentoring and playing with the jovial children. During a football match, we were surprised at the talent the young children possess. Their strategy on the pitch ensured they made many successful passes. We talked to them about the importance of education and that the future is theirs.
Before leaving, the team took a few pictures. We are glad to be part of a cause that looks after our communities.
